The "Tenglong Katana" is a remarkable sword forged from high-performance Manganese steel, offering exceptional toughness and hardness. The blade is intricately engraved with plum blossom motifs, enhancing its aesthetic appeal. The katana, with the saya included, measures 103 cm in total length, featuring a blade length of 71 cm, a handle length of 26.5 cm, and a blade width of 3.2 cm. Weighing approximately 1.5 kg, it showcases an exclusive, custom-molded pure copper set with detailed carvings. The hand-forged blade is polished to an ultra-high mirror finish. The handle is wrapped with genuine ray skin and silk cord for a secure grip, while the saya is made from green wood, adorned with hand-painted gold maki-e lacquer and inlaid with yellow ox horn at the koiguchi, kurikata, and kojiri. This exceptional piece is complemented by a finely crafted, textured sageo.
