Permit or license may be required under your jurisdiction. We (KatanaSwordArt), at all times, shall not be held accountable for any breach of state law and action taken by the authorities.

State laws change regularly; it is impossible for us to give exact information regarding the legal status of items in every State. Please contact your local State Police Department and ask them for specific information regarding the ownership of items you wish to purchase.

By placing a Katana or Sword order, the customers confirm that they are over 18 years old and are aware of all local, state and federal laws regarding the possession or carrying of the products they are ordering. Customers are responsible for compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and laws. KatanaSwordArt does not warrant that a person or company may legally sell, purchase, possess, or carry any of the items offered according to federal, state, or local laws.

Customers in Victoria (Australia) should have a “prohibited weapons permit” or an exemption (membership from a Collectors’ Organisation) to purchase a Katana. For more information, please seek legal advice or check with your local state authority. The transaction fee may apply if a customer in Victoria requests a refund due to the Permit issue.
