Description
The "Chijin " katana features a total length of 103 cm, with a blade length of 70 cm and a handle length of 27 cm. The blade is 3.2 cm wide and 0.7 cm thick, crafted from T10 steel with a gold-baked finish. With a hardness rating of HRC 57-59, the katana offers an excellent balance of durability and sharpness. The scabbard is made from lacquered solid wood, while the handle combines integrated steel, solid wood, and an anti-slip cord for a secure grip. The fittings are made from alloy, and the tsuba (handguard) is crafted from two-tone copper alloy. The blade undergoes thirteen stages of fine hand polishing, resulting in a sharp and refined finish. The sword weighs approximately 1.25 kg.
