Description
The "Canghai" Samurai Sword is a stunning creation that embodies the perfect blend of strength and artistry. Measuring a total length of 103 cm, with a blade length of 71 cm, handle length of 27 cm, and a blade width of 3.2 cm, this katana is meticulously forged from a blend of multiple steel types. The blade features a traditional clay-tempered hamon, polished to reveal its beautiful pattern and striking hamon line. The “ji” area is polished to a cloud-like white finish, while the ha and shinogi areas are polished to a high gloss, creating a striking contrast.
The fittings are made of brass with a luxurious gold overlay, enhancing the sword's elegance. The saya (scabbard) is partially wrapped in ray skin and finished in a vivid red lacquer. The koiguchi, kurikata, and kojiri are all reinforced with ox horn, adding durability and a touch of sophistication.
